How should I use this?
The slow version of the audio file can be used to check you are playing the right thing at the right tempo - and it's on you to ensure you are using the appropriate fingers. Once that's fine, the fast version of the audio isn't that fast but it is a faster version that you should aim to be able to play the exercise at. My advice is to use the slow version of the audio - check you play along and then the fast version of the audio - then play along

Is this the same book that I got for free by subscribing to the newsletter?

Yes, this is the same 105 page ebook that you can get for free by subscribing. Many students have learned from that alone. This package includes the audio files. 

Is this the same as the course?

No. The Zero to Learn Fingerpicker in 30 Days course is an online course with high definition video shot with multiple camera angles to show you exactly how I'm playing what I'm playing. This audio pack is still a great way to learn, but some people prefer the video course.
